Happy Ides of March Everyone!

Can you believe its March already?!  The year is flying by!  Good thing there are lots of fun activities to fill in those fast flying days.  Steve Shannon at KQFC and I had a great time this morning discussing great ways to shake off this muddy week.  Here ya go....

1.  Tomorrow night its Illumibrate: a light and color festival at JUMP in Boise.  Its a free family friendly event with the front lawn of JUMP lit up with an interactive sculpture of lights.  Throughout the JUMP facility you will find food trucks, body art exhibits, a silent disco, a photo booth, an orgami garden, fish activities and exhibits, and a variety of pop-up music and performances all over the place!  The fun starts at 6 in the evening and runs until 10.

2.  Looking for something a little more theatrical?  Timberline High School is having their Annual Dinner Show.  This year its a clever retelling of the classic Cinderella story.  Dinner and the show start at 4:30 on Saturday.  After the show they are holding a REAL BALL...so pull out those fancy clothes!  Tickets can be purchased by contacting the Timberline Choir Department.  Take the whole family and enjoy a great night of theatre, food and dancing.  Plus you will be helping out the Timberline Choir Department.

3.  How about a fun Saturday night out in the sticks of Kuna?  Former US Marine and now famous country music singer, Josh Gracin, will be visiting the small community right here in Idaho.  Hear Josh sing country favorites "Nothing to Lose" and "We Weren't Crazy" at Cowgirls Saloon.  The show starts at 730 pm and is a 21 and older show.  Tickets start at $10 with VIP tables available.

4.  On Sunday Winging it Arts in Nampa will be having a Mandala Painting Class.  All materials will be provided and Artist Sunny Freeman will guide you on your own artistic journey and memorable experience.  The event runs from 1 to 5 pm.  Please contact Winging it Arts for more information.

One more great BucketList Adventure to liven up this weekend is snow tubing right here in the Treasure Valley.  Plus there is always snow at Gateway Park within the boundries of Eagle Island State Park.  Not only is there world class tubing, but also a ski and snowboard hill.  Its a great way for the whole family to enjoy some outdoor fun and work on their BucketLists together.  Plus the Gateway Park Company donates a portion of their revenue back to the community the park is located in.  Win-Win!!

Have a great week fellow bucketlisters!  Be sure to turn into KQFC Friday mornings at 8:15 to hear your BucketList updates live!
